Ingredients:
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup protein powder (your choice of flavor)
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 tablespoons milk (dairy or non-dairy)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, and baking powder. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Add Milk: Gradually add milk to the mixture until it reaches a dough-like consistency. If the dough is too dry, you can add a little more milk.
- Fold in Chocolate Chips: If you're using chocolate chips, fold them into the dough.
- Form Cookies: Use a spoon to scoop out portions of the dough and shape them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and flatten them slightly.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Cool: Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Feel free to customize them with your favorite mix-ins, like nuts, dried fruits, or seeds!
