Recipe - Protein Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 scoop (about 30g) protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk (or milk alternative)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt
  • Cooking spray or a little oil for the pan

Instructions:

  1. Blend Ingredients: In a blender, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, banana, milk, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Let the batter sit for a few minutes to thicken.

  2. Preheat Pan: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray or oil.

  3. Cook Pancakes: Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.

  4. Serve: Stack the pancakes on a plate and top with your favorite toppings like fresh fruit, yogurt, maple syrup, or nut butter.

  5. Enjoy: Serve warm and enjoy your protein-packed pancakes!


Feel free to customize the recipe by adding ingredients like berries, nuts or chocolate chips for extra flavor!
